The huge online marketing industry has changed our basic way of thinking about advertising per se. They come up with bigger and bigger billboards, expandables, page takeovers or so-called contextual ad matching by fancy AI algorithms, meanwhile requiring clients to be familiar with vast complex terminology of CPMs, CPCs, CPAs, cappings, etc.
Selling ads online is a common business model for a big number of Internet projects. That's why the industry is so healthy - online media have to hire the sales people and clients have to hire the specialists who understand all the Internet marketing blah-blah-blah.
In AdTaily we believe that advertising on the Web should get back to its roots. Apart from anything else, it's a bit like sex: it should be free, you should be able to do it with anyone and it should be safe! That's why we came up with an ultra-simple self-service tool that lets online publishers sell ads directly on their websites.
